Two organizations that we work with currently have fund-matching programs, so right now, your support of them will go twice as far as it would otherwise!
Until Dec. 31, Lance and Ellen Shaner will match every contribution made to Centre Volunteers in Medicine, up to $50,000! Centre Volunteers in Medicine provides free medical and dental care, case management and necessary medications to qualified uninsured residents of Centre County.
Donations can be made online, dropped off at CVIM, or mailed to CVIM at 2520 Green Tech Drive, Suite D, State College, 16803.
A generous donor has also offered to match donations to The Hundred Cat Foundation. This organization’s mission is to improve the lives of feral, stray and free-roaming cats in the Centre County area, and to assist the people caring for these cats. They do this by providing access to low-cost spay/neuter services, assisting people caring for colonies, finding loving homes for socialized cats, providing nutritious food and providing outreach and education on feral and stray cat management.
The Hundred Cat Foundation’s donor will match all gifts made between now and the end of the year, up to $5,000! Click here to donate online or download their donation form and send it, along with a check, to The Hundred Cat Foundation, PO Box 10, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
Does knowing that your gift will be matched dollar for dollar make you more eager to donate to a charitable organization? Do you know of any other worthy organizations that are currently running similar fund-matching programs?
