Have you heard of GuideStar? It’s a website that helps donors and nonprofits find or disperse nonprofit info. We will be requiring that all organizations participating in our upcoming Centre Gives initiatve update their GuideStar profile. For those that would like help with this, we will be holding sessions at local libraries. The first two will be this week. This Thursday, April 19, at 5, we will be at Holt Memorial Library, in Philipsburg, and on Friday, April 20 we will be at Schlow Centre Region Library, in State College, at 11:30 a.m.
Please RSVP to me at the email address listed below if you plan on attending a session. Please register with GuideStar before attending a library session, and please bring important information such as your org’s IRS letter of determination and most recent 990, either in physical or digital form. And please bring a laptop computer if you are able to do so.

Thursday, May 3: @ 3:30 – 5 p.m.: Meeting at Schlow Library
