Make your donation count during Centre Gives!

Match Days have occurred across the country, from Pittsburgh to San Diego, from Erie to Seattle, and despite their different locales, they all have one thing in common: They raise a large amount of money for their communities.

And we at the Centre County Community Foundation are proud to announce that we will be bringing just such an event to our area. On June 27 and 28, Centre Gives will enable people to donate to any of more than 70 participating nonprofit organizations that serve our county, via These organizations help maintain our county’s natural beauty, they help animals in need, they provide food and medical care to those who cannot afford it, they preserve Centre County’s history so generations to come can learn about it. They do all this, and more. And for 36 hours, from 6 a.m. June 27 through 6 p.m. June 28, your contribution to the nonprofit(s) of your choosing will go even further than normal, because we are providing $100,000 in matching funds!

This event will give local nonprofits, large, small, and in between, the opportunity to reach out to supporters to raise a substantial amount of money, and with a leaderboard that updates in real time, it will be exciting to watch which organizations can raise the most!

On June 27 and 28, log on to, learn about participating organizations, donate, and cheer on your favorite nonprofits as needed funds are raised to maintain and improve the quality of life in our community.
